Pe Ben Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

Pe Ben Oilfield Services LP is committed to preventing the accidental loss of any of its resources, visitors, workers, contractors, sub-contractors and property. The core of our HSE program is based on the following:

  • Zero Injuries
  • Zero Claims
  • Zero Environmental Issues
  • Zero Property Losses

To achieve these goals there is a responsibility for management, workers, contractors and sub-contractors to work together. The combined efforts will provide and maintain a healthy, safe and environmentally friendly work environment. All workers, including management, supervisors, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors will be in compliance with the Canada Labor Code Part II and all other applicable regulatory requirements. Our policy will use industry and regulatory standards as its foundation to achieve a work environment that promotes:

EXCELLENCE IN HEALTH, SAFETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The safety systems we develop will be designed to eliminate foreseeable hazards and make every effort that we do not create any new hazards. Education and training will be provided to help visitors, workers, contractors and sub-contractors to understand, promote and implement the knowledge and skills required to maintain a healthy, safe and environmentally friendly workplace or visit a worksite in a safe, efficient manner.

All workers, including management, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors will be committed to protecting the environment or minimizing hazards that can cause accidents or injuries. All supervisors will comply with hazard management requirements as they relate to daily operations. All workers will perform their jobs in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.

Audits and inspections will be conducted and all inaccuracies will be dealt with. Incidents will be investigated, not to determine fault, but to determine root cause. The only way to avoid incidents and to ensure a Safe Work Environment is through prevention.

It is important for each and every one of us to understand that negligence cannot be part of our journey. It is our duty to send each worker home to their family, whole and healthy. and at the same time ensure their job security. Each and every individual in the organization must accept this basic fundamental.

This is not a work only requirement, we encourage each worker to take these Health and Safety goals home, share them and practice them in your personal life as well as at work.

We trust that all of you will join us in a personal commitment to make health and safety a way of life.
